Rooms

• Change of bed linen on request: We only change the bed linen and towels when necessary. As our hotel guest, you decide yourself when you would like to have your bed linen and towels changed. There is an environmental sign in every room for easy handling.

• Economy nozzles: The maximum water flow rate is significantly reduced while maintaining the same level of comfort. This saves thousands of litres of valuable water every year. This reduces CO2 emissions and saves energy and water costs at the same time.

Restaurant

• Regional suppliers: If you have breakfast with us, you can enjoy fine jams from Ballwil, organic eggs from Greppen and creamy yoghurts from the Napf region - just a few examples of the products we source regionally.
• Food Save: We make tasty stock from vegetable and vegetable waste or even bones. The remaining organic waste is processed into biogas and utilised as an energy resource.

Electricity

• Conversion to 100 % LED: Our sophisticated lighting concept not only makes a significant contribution to your well-being, but also achieves electricity savings of up to 80-90% thanks to state-of-the-art LED technology. LED lamps are energy-saving light sources. They require less electricity than conventional light bulbs and are therefore more efficient and more energy-efficient than conventional light sources with the same brightness. They also have a much longer service life. Wherever possible, we have switched to LED light sources in our company.
• Room Key Card system: Thanks to our modern key card key system, all unnecessary power sources are switched off after a short time when you leave the room.

Employees

• Well being at work: Discounted massages, sports lessons during working hours, employee sports, cost-sharing for sports, bike hire and much more.
• Arbeitsweg: The majority of our 100 or so employees travel to work by public transport, on foot or by bike.
• Gender equality: It fills us with pride that we can boast a strong quota of women and that this extends through every level of the hierarchy. The associated equal pay is a matter of course for us.
• 5 apprentices: GHN is passionately committed to training and further education and offers five apprenticeships every year. In addition, we work together with renowned hotel management schools such as the ‘SHL’ in Lucerne or the ‘École hôtelière de Lausanne’ and offer internships. The five apprenticeships can be completed as a hotel specialist, hotel communications specialist, commercial apprentice or restaurant specialist. During your training, you will regularly attend school for the theoretical part.  

Journey to us

• 2 Electric car parking spaces: For guests travelling with their electric car, we offer two charging stations with universal connections for every type of car directly in front of the hotel for a fee. This means you can charge your electric car's battery quickly and easily.
