From 12 August to 14 September 2025, Lucerne once again transforms into the capital of classical music: the Lucerne Festival, the largest of its kind in Switzerland, features over 120 events with leading orchestras, chamber music ensembles, solo recitals, and more than 50 free concerts.
This year's edition is held under the theme "Open End" – a tribute to unfinished works, creative openness, and a farewell to Artistic Director Michael Haefliger after 26 years.
