Gàbor Fekete is a photographer and illustrator from Lucerne. Originally, he is from Hungary, but he has been in Switzerland since 1971, where he has completely devoted himself to his passion for art. In 1977, he attended university in Kassel, Germany and graduated in 1982 with a diploma in graphic design and visual communication. Back in Switzerland, he worked as a lecturer in illustration and photography at the “Farbmühle Design School” in Lucerne and then as a lecturer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) for 20 years. Gàbor Fekete gained international recognition through his many publications in magazines and journals such as Vogue, Departures Magazine London, Elle, NZZ and many more. Fekete has also won several national and international art awards, including the 1st prize for applied art in 1995 in Lucerne.
Today Fekete is active in his own gallery: Perfekete Contemporary Art Gallery and offers workshops on photography and illustration, as he has done for many years.
